Sports Coach/Behaviour Mentor, Preston

Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking a hard working Sports Coach or Behaviour Mentor to work in a Preston based School which caters for pupils with behavioural difficulties. The School are seeking a candidate who can split their time effectively between providing behaviour support in classes and delivering Sports in School - although it is likely you're timetable will be heavily weighted to in class support. The School is smaller than average and currently caters for approximately 60 pupils accross KS3/4, all male.

The School is based on the outskirts of Preston with on site parking and access to public transport. The School are hoping to appoint a Sports Coach/Behaviour Mentor from the start of the new academic year and the pay for this role will likely be between £57 - 70 per day.

The role would suit an enthusiastic, empathetic and confident candidate with a background in working with children or adults with behavioural difficulties and/or SEN/

The School are willing to take applicants from a range of backgrounds including; Education, Care, Military, Police, Sports and Psychology Graduates.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
