Due to an increase in staff absences our client secondary school in Rochdale is currently seeking flexible Sports Graduates to join their cover team.
The incoming Sports Graduate will be predominately based in the PE department covering both practical and pre-planned theory lessons in the absence of the teacher. You will be responsible for ensuring students are on task during their lessons, adhering to the schools policies and providing feedback to the classroom teacher. Additionally, you will also be required to cover a range of lessons in different faculties when cover isn't needed in the PE department.
- Flexible Sports Graduate position, immediate start
- Get paid up to £300 a week depending on experience
- Develop outstanding behaviour management skills and classroom presence
- CPD courses are offered for your own professional development
- Work in an Ofsted graded good secondary school
Our client secondary school is based in a semi-rural town close to Littleborough and is easily accessible via both the M60& M62, for those who don't drive there is a range of public transport links from Manchester City centre. In recent years the school has restructured their behaviour management policies & expected standards of teaching and leaning having a positive effect on the overall performance of the school.
This would be an excellent opportunity for any Sports Graduate to gain first hand school based experience prior to starting their teacher training.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
