The Denton school are looking for a candidate that has relevant experience of working with children with speech and/or communication needs at varying levels in or out of an educational environment. You will need to be patient and sensitive with the ability to encourage and motivate children. You will display outstanding inter-personal skills as well as being able to work effectively in a team. Experience of working with children who display challenging behaviour as a result of SEMH would be highly advantageous. Having knowledge of phonics schemes would work well when working in the schools EYFS.
You may also work with outside agencies to adapt the National Curriculum to meet the needs of pupils and work according to Individual Educational Healthcare Plans to reflect their development.
The role will start in the new year (2018) ideally ASAP for the full academic year with the strong possibility to go onto the school's contract.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
