Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in a special school in Hull, supporting pupils with a range of SEN and ability levels. The school is a provision with a 11-18 year old intake of children and young people. The pupils are predominantly from Hull and surrounding areas. Admission to the school occur at all ages and at all points in the year. Pupils follow an exciting broad and balanced curriculum that recognises their special educational needs, seeks to maximize their potential and prepares them to meet the challenges of the world, including the promotion of independence and building on life skills.

The school is currently looking for additional support in a range of SEN classes on a short and long term basis. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar setting or even come from a care background. Understanding complex needs will be vital for your success in this role.
