ARE YOU A QUALIFIED TEACHER WITH A PARTICULAR INTEREST IN WORKING WITH CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS WHO HAVE ADDITIONAL NEEDS?

Teaching Personnel are interested in speaking to Primary or Secondary Teachers who have experience working with Special Needs, such as Autism (ASC), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Hearing/Visually impaired, to work within SEN provisions

Requirements of the Role:

  • You will be QTS, QTLS or PGCE registered.
  • Have relevant experience working with children in either Primary or Secondary schools with SEMH, ADHD, ASC, PMLD, SLD, and hearing and/or visual impairments.
  • Be able to tailor and differentiate work according to each child's individual needs and learning styles.
  • Demonstrate outstanding classroom practice.
  • Have the ability to challenge, motivate and inspire.
  • Experience of de-escalation techniques, Picture Exchange Communication (PECS) and Makaton would be a distinct advantage but not necessary.

The successful candidate will be subject to a variety of vetting checks, including eligibility to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS and full references including one from your two most recent teaching placements.

We can offer work on a day to day supply basis to allow flexibility to work around your lifestyle, as well as long term and permanent placements!
