Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a school in Leeds that requires Teaching Assistants/Behaviour Support to help them within school with students and staff. The school is an Alternative Provision that caters to students that have been excluded from mainstream education on a permanent basis. These students may display challenging behaviours tend to have Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues, come from Looked After or disadvantaged backgrounds and may have some SEN issues such as Autism or ADHD.

The role will be full time and long term and the candidate must have experience of supporting adults or children with similar SEN or mental health issues. You must be outgoing and resilient to the challenges that this role might bring, engaging and proactive.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
