Are you looking for an SEN teaching assistant position? Do you have a passion for supporting children with their learning and development or have you always wanted to? Do you have experience working with children or adults who have Autism, moderate learning difficulties or severe learning difficulties? If so then this is the role for you!
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a fantastic small and independent school with excellent purpose built facilities. The school are looking for a full time teaching assistant to support small groups and on a 1:1 basis. Previous experience of working as a teaching assistant within a classroom setting is advantageous and any 1:1 experience of supporting ASD or MLD is highly desirable. A background in care or experience working with vulnerable children or adults is also transferable experience.
The school provides education and support for pupils aged 9-20 so a Child and Adult DBS will be required for this role.
