Special educational needs teaching assistant - Isleworth

Specialist SEN teaching assistant required - Must have experience supporting students with a variety of special educational needs.

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of an excellent school based in Isleworth, the school itself pride themselves on providing their students with the best staff and educational quality. Being based in Isleworth they are encouraging an open approach to people of a variety of backgrounds - encouraging being all inclusive and accepting of individual differences.

The role:

This role will require possible candidates to provide one to one support to a groups of students with special educational needs including autism and ADHD. There are multiple students across a range of years that require additional support, this may involve providing group support and adapting work to their ability. Being able to monitor and evaluate their pupils progression and provide suitable feedback is essential, similarly they must be able to adapt and support their needs throughout.

This role will involve predominately working within the EYFS and KS1 classes, focusing on their initial developments, however you must feel comfortable to work across a number of different year groups and key stages.

The ideal candidate:

  • Must have experience supporting pupils with special educational needs
  • At least 1 years classroom experience
  • A valid DBS
  • Calm and positive approach to learning and diffusing classroom based situations

This school based in Isleworth is a one form entry community based school. The faith school has created a strong community base, creating a setting for all students to thrive and develop in a variety of different ways. With their recent restructuring within the school they have great spacial opportunities, offering a variety of clubs and activities for students to grow in a variety of different ways.

Their strong senior leadership team has focused on the importance of creating a positive learning environment, building relationships with all members of staff and students.

Based in the heart of Isleworth it is easily accessible by a number of different train and bus services including the H37. It is a 15 minute walk from Isleworth station.
