Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)
Location: Luton, United Kingdom
Salary: £85 - £95 per day
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join our team in Luton. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, starting immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
- Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN, ensuring their educational and personal needs are met.
- Support the classroom teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Collaborate with other members of the SEN team, teachers, and parents to monitor student progress and implement appropriate interventions.
- Promote independence and confidence in students with SEN.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with special educational needs is essential.
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
