Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant

Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant required for SEN school.

The school provides education and support for pupils aged 3-19 years old with a range of additional needs. The school supports pupils with Autism (ASD), physical disabilities (PD) and visual and hearing impairments.

The school emphasises on supporting life skills and offering community based learning, extra activities include horse riding and swimming.

Training or an interest in Team Teach, TEACHH, British Sign Language (BSL), Sensory Curriculum or Lego Therapy would be advantageous.

Class sizes are small with 8 pupils, teacher and members of additional support.
