Job Opportunity: SEN (Autism) Teacher – North Kensington, London (W10)
Location: North Kensington, London
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £160 – £280 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent, full time, part time

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with an outstanding specialist school in the heart of North Kensington seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team this September.


About the Role:

  • Deliver high-quality, tailored teaching to students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Develop and adapt learning materials to meet individual needs and EHCPs
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team including SENCOs, therapists, and support staff
  • Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Use behaviour management strategies that support pupil wellbeing and learning

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience working with students with Autism (ASC), ideally in a specialist or SEN setting
  • Deep understanding of Autism and related strategies such as TEACCH, PECS, or Makaton
  • Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
  • Empathetic, resilient, and passionate about making a difference

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
