Sociology graduate opportunities at Teaching Personnel!
Are you a recent Sociology graduate in the OL1 area looking to make a meaningful impact in education? Teaching Personnel is excited to offer fantastic opportunities for sociology graduates to join our team starting in September 2024!
As a Sociology graduate with Teaching Personnel, you will:
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored educational plans and interventions.
- Use your sociological knowledge to help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students with diverse needs, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
- Work one-on-one or in small groups to support students’ academic and emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers, and support staff to promote students' well-being and academic success.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A degree in Sociology or a related field (e.g. Psychology, Anthropology, etc...)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional needs of children and young people.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
