Exciting Opportunity: Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Key Stage 2 (Oldham, OL2)
Full-Time Position | Immediate Start | Progression to School-Based Contract
A welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Lees (OL2) is seeking a dedicated and confident Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 2 team. This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential to transition to a permanent school-based contract for the right candidate.

Graded “Good” under the latest OFSTED framework, this two-form entry school is known for its friendly environment and strong staff support. It provides excellent KS2 provision, particularly in literacy and numeracy development.
The Role Includes:

General classroom support across KS2
-
2 hours of PPA cover per week – confidence in leading a full class is essential

Contributing to pupil progress and supporting the teaching team

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum CACHE Level 3 qualification or a graduate with relevant school-based experience

Experience in Key Stage 2 preferred

Strong grasp of the national curriculum, particularly in Maths and English

Ability to work collaboratively, assess pupil progress, and maintain high expectations

Caring, nurturing approach with a commitment to positive behaviour management
