SEN school in central Basingstoke need a Teacher

Teaching Personnel are working very closely with a SEN school in Basingstoke who are looking for a SEN teacher to start in the term. The school cater for secondary aged pupils that have a variety of Special Educational Needs including MLD, SLD, Autism, Challenging behaviour and Physical Disabilities. The teacher would have their own secondary SLD class where they are expected to teach all subjects to their group of children. You would have 3 Support Assistants in the class to assist you with the needs of the pupils.

The ideal candidate would be a Fully Qualified Teacher however a NQT would be considered. It is vital you have experience working with SEN previously or at least have the drive and passion to work in these settings. If you have training in Manual Handling, NASEN or Team Teach this is an advantage but not essential. The role would start in the new term and would potentially go permanent for the correct candidate after the probation period.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
