Are you passionate about supporting children with speech, language and communication needs? We are seeking a dedicated SLCN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bootle on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to pupils with SLCN across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual learning plans.
• Use strategies and resources to aid communication and language development.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff and parents.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Support classroom activities and contribute to whole-school initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children with SLCN or other SEND.
• A calm, patient and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant training or willingness to complete CPD (e.g. SLCN course via CPD Academy).
• A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
