Role: Phonics Intervention Specialist

Location: Norris Green (L11)

Pay Rate: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)

We are seeking a Phonics Intervention Specialist to deliver targeted support to children in Early Years and Key Stage 1 who need additional help with their phonics knowledge and early reading skills. This part-time, temporary role is ideal for a skilled teaching assistant, intervention teacher, or phonics-trained practitioner with experience delivering high-impact interventions.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Have experience delivering phonics sessions in a primary school or EYFS setting
• Have strong understanding of early reading development and intervention strategies
• Be able to work collaboratively with class teachers, SENDCO, and support staff
• Be organised, reliable, and proactive in managing time and pupil records
• Have excellent communication skills and a nurturing, supportive approach
