SLCN TA - Tameside

A lovley average sized primary school in Tameside is actively searching for talented Graduates or experienced SLCN individuals to work as Teaching Assistants with some of their Primary pupils with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).

Ideally suited to an ambitious Graduate with a Psychology background, the SEND Teaching Assistant will benefit from working as a critical part of the wider teaching team within the school.

SEN Teaching Assistant, who could possibly be an aspiring Speech & Language Therapist (SALT), will implement tailored learning plans for the pupil(s) and will feed back attainment. You will be working with children form Reception to Year 6. The role will start after October half term and will be untill the end of the academic year for the right person.

• Ideally suited to those with prior Special Educational Needs (SEN) experience
