A primary school in Sutton are looking for a committed SENTA to work in a 'Good' . This particular role will be to start in September 2019

The school caters for students from 5-11 years old, they are a positive and focused community who acknowledge the rights of their students to learn and develop as individuals. It is an essential part of the ethos of the school that they aspire to be a centre of educational excellence for students of all abilities. The school take pride on the fact that their staff are committed, forward thinking, positive and always put the needs of the students first to ensure they are successful during their primary years.

You'll be expected to do the following as a SENTA:

  • Work with students on a 1:2:1 basis and also small groups.
  • Go on regular training and regular CPD courses.
  • Ability to work with a team and individually.
  • Have a good understanding of a variety of SEN, specialising in 1 specific area.

A fantastic school located in the London Borough of Sutton are seeking a highly experienced SEN Teaching assistant to work 1-2-1 with a pupil who has severe Autism in year 1. The school are after someone who has been in a role like this before or something similar, the child in question has his good days and his bad days and the school are looking for someone who has had a least 1 years experience working with autism, someone who is pro-active and can slot into the school and build a good rapport from day one.

This is a lovely 2 form entry school that has a rich history and is OFSTED graded 'GOOD' and they are working towards being an outstanding school and one of the leading schools in the borough.

The SLT within the school are very supportive and will help you with the transition into the school, this role is a new role that has come up this year as the pupil has now gone into year 1.

The school are looking for someone caring and who can have patience with the child, he is a lovely young pupil who just needs someone who can take the time to build a relationship with him and support him through this academic year.
