Are you passionate about helping children reach their full potential?

Teaching Personnel is recruiting several dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming Catholic primary school in the L9 area of Liverpool from September. These are full-time, long-term opportunities supporting pupils within a mainstream setting who require additional support to thrive both academically and socially.

The school is looking for individuals who are patient, reliable and committed to making a genuine difference. You will work closely with individual pupils with a range of additional needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), alongside a small number of children with more complex needs.

The Role:

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day.

  • Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.

  • Build positive relationships that encourage confidence, engagement and independence.

  • Work alongside teachers, SENCOs and other support staff to deliver the best outcomes for pupils.

  • Support children's social, emotional and academic development.

We're Looking For:

  • Experience supporting children in a school, care or similar setting is desirable.

  • A calm, nurturing and positive approach.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • A genuine interest in supporting children with additional learning needs.

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
