SEND Teacher – Wythenshawe
Location: Wythenshawe, Manchester
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Full-time
Salary: MPS/UPS

This school is a nurturing and inclusive learning environment committed to supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities. They are seeking a compassionate and skilled SEND Teacher to join their dedicated team from January 2026.

About the Role

As a SEND Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver personalised and engaging learning experiences for pupils with a range of SEND needs.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure holistic development.
  • Use adaptive teaching strategies and assessment tools to meet individual learning goals.
  • Foster a safe, respectful and stimulating classroom environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEND settings.
  • A strong understanding of EHCPs, differentiated planning, and inclusive pedagogy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A patient, resilient and creative approach to teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
