SEND Teacher

Location: Cambridge, UK

Are you a passionate and fully qualified teacher with experience and expertise in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Do you thrive in a supportive and inclusive educational environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons for SEND students.
  • Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and assess student progress.
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement, confidence, and independence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with SEND qualifications.
  • Experience in SEND education.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient attitude towards supporting students with SEND.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
