Exciting Opportunity for a Dynamic Design & Technology (DT) Teacher

Are you passionate about empowering students with special educational needs (SEN) to explore their creativity and develop practical skills? Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced and qualified DT Teacher to join one of our SEN schools in Cambridge. This school is an Ofsted rated outstanding school that caters for 5 - 19 years olds with a diagnosis of autism or aspergers syndrome. They believe that every student is different, and should be prepared to make the most of the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of life.

Position: Design & Technology Teacher

Location: Cambridge

School Type: Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging DT lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN, including autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, and communication difficulties.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning experiences.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in Design & Technology or related field.
  • Experience working with students with SEN.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills, with a commitment to inclusive practice.
