The Vacancy
Teaching Personnel are currently working with one of our Ofsted rated 'Good' schools who are recruiting for a SEND Unit Teacher of PE in their Unit Provision, a specialist provision for students with SEND.
- Cognition and Learning – Learning Disabilities
- Communication and Interaction – Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Communication and Interaction – Speech, Language and Communication (SLCN)
We are offering an exciting new opportunity for a suitable candidate to join the schools expanding team which will cater for 100 students, increasing their intake in September 2024 and January 2025 when they will be at full capacity. We are looking to recruit a skilled and motivated individual to join their team in September 2024 who will support and help them prepare towards expansion plans. The Unit Provision is undergoing building work in Term 6 and the summer to add two new classrooms and a sensory/therapy room.
The ideal candidate will be a highly qualified, organised and inspirational PE teacher who is committed to raise achievement through motivating and inspiring students across the curriculum. Teaching an additional core subject or alternative subject is required.

Teaching a core subject will be required. Driving the mini bus for offsite visits is desirable but not essential. MIDAS training can be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
