JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Tutor

Job Duties:
- Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Develop and implement individualised education plans.
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support student development.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience working with students with SEN.
- Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role working with SEN students.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual student needs.
- Knowledge of current SEN legislation and best practises.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in SEN education.
- Experience with assistive technology for SEN students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
