Job Title: SEN Tutor

Location:

Job Duties:

- Provide individualised support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

- Develop tailored learning strategies to meet the unique needs of each student

- Create and implement engaging lesson plans to enhance learning outcomes

- Monitor and assess student progress regularly

- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development

Required Qualifications:

- A relevant teaching qualification

- Experience working with students with SEN

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

- In-depth understanding of SEN requirements and best practises

- Proficiency in creating and delivering personalised learning plans

- Excellent organisational and time management skills

- Patience and empathy towards students with SEN

Preferred Qualifications:

- Specialisation in SEN teaching

- Additional certifications in SEN education

Working Conditions:

- Work primarily in a classroom setting

- May require travel to student's homes or other educational institutions

- Full-time hours with occasional evening or weekend work

- Collaborative work environment with other educators and professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
