Job description

SEN Tutor – Matlock (DE4)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutor to work with students in the Matlock (DE4) area. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide personalised support to learners with additional needs and help them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-to-one or small group tuition tailored to individual needs
  • Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Plan and adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and abilities
  • Build positive relationships and encourage engagement and confidence
  • Monitor and report on student progress

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN
  • Tutoring or teaching experience preferred
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • A patient, supportive, and flexible approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Right to work in the UK

Working Hours:

  • Part-time / flexible
  • Typically weekdays (Monday to Friday)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
