1:1 Tutor – Swadlincote

Swadlincote & surrounding areas
School hours | Monday–Friday
Part-time / Term-time / Flexible

We are seeking passionate and dedicated 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in the Swadlincote area within home and school settings.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys making a real difference to young people who may need additional support due to SEN/SEND needs, gaps in learning, anxiety, or school disengagement.

✨ What you’ll be doing:
• Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition sessions
• Support pupils with their academic, emotional, and social development
• Adapt learning to individual needs and abilities
• Build strong, positive relationships with learners and families
• Track progress and support learning outcomes
• Create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment

✅ What we’re looking for:
• Minimum 1 year UK tutoring or teaching experience
• Experience working with children or young people
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Patient, flexible, and reliable approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Driving licence preferred

⭐ Desirable:
• SEN/SEND experience (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, anxiety)
• QTS / TA / tutoring background
• Experience in English or Maths support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
