1:1 SEN Tutor – S44, Chesterfield

Location: Chesterfield (S44)
Hours: Monday to Friday – School Hours
Pay: Competitive rates dependent on experience

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 SEN Tutor to support pupils in the Chesterfield area.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with young people who require additional support, helping them build confidence, re-engage with learning, and achieve their full potential through personalised tuition.

✨ What You’ll Be Doing:
• Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition sessions to meet individual learning needs
• Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Adapt teaching approaches to suit different abilities and learning styles
• Build positive and supportive relationships with students
• Encourage confidence, engagement, and independence
• Monitor progress and provide feedback where required
• Maintain safeguarding and compliance standards at all times

✅ What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience working with SEN pupils
• Tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or support experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, adaptable, and positive approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

⭐ Desirable:
• Experience supporting students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or additional needs
• Teaching qualifications or relevant educational background
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
