Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant (Day-to-Day Supply)
Location: Farnborough and surrounding areas
Start Date: January
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Short-term supply (via agency)
About the Role
We are recruiting SEN Learning Support Assistants for day-to-day supply work through an agency in schools and alternative provisions across the Farnborough area. You will support children and young people aged 4–17 with a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing flexible cover on a short-notice or pre-booked basis.
This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible work, varied settings, or experience across different SEN environments.
Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties
-
Support pupils’ learning, social skills, and emotional wellbeing
-
Follow school and pupil support plans and agency guidance
-
Promote positive behaviour and engagement
-
Assist with personal care where required (training provided)

Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
About You
-
Caring, patient, and adaptable
-
Experience working with children or young people (education, care, or youth work experience preferred; SEN experience desirable but not essential)

Confident in adapting quickly to new settings and routines
-
Strong communication skills and a professional approach
-
Committed to safeguarding and child welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
