Teaching Personnel are excited to be seeking an engaging SEN Teaching Assistant in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire.
With a strong interest and some knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEN), you will be a reliable and motivated individual, who is ready to start work as soon as possible.
The Role
You will be working with pupils of all ages, ensuring they are engaged in their learning and development as well as encouraging them to take part in class activities.
Working in Special Educational Needs, no two days are the same. One day you could be working with a pupil, who requires 1:1 support, the next you may be working as part of a larger class with multiple SEN pupils.
As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, duties will include:
- Promoting and assisting with the learning and development of the pupil(s) you are assigned to
- Encouraging pupils' confidence and independence
- Managing behavior
- Preparing learning resources, as directed by the Teacher
Working Hours
You must be available to work from 8.30am until 3.30pm. We have both part-time and full-time positions available and although this is a temporary long-term position, you could be offered a permanent position within a school.
