SEN Teaching Assistant Wanted - Sporting background desirable!

Teaching Personnel is working with an SEN school based in Nuneaton, that is looking for Teaching Assistants that come from a strong sporting background. The school caters for pupils aged 2-16, and have both a separate Primary & Secondary site. They are looking for support staff who come from a sporting background, an is confident working with pupils with SEN. Both Sports Graduates & Sports Coaches will be considered.

Experience working with pupils with SEN is desirable, however this is not essential. If you an adaptive and flexible personality you may still be considered to work at the school. You would be working in a class that holds pupils with Autism, ADHD & challenging behaviour.

Candidates will be required to hold an enhanced DBS disclosure, which you can apply for through Teaching Personnel.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
