Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit SEN Teaching Assistants for specialist provisions around the Hertfordshire area that cater for students with all types of additional needs such as physical disability, complex medical needs, sensory impairments, complex speech and language difficulties, Autism Spectrum Condition and challenging behaviours.

Often teaching assistants working in the schools we work closely with comment on how rewarding the role is and how they can see a hige difference in students and young people since working with them on a 121 basis.

About the role:

• SEN Teaching Assistant
• Flexible working options available (part time & full time)
• Work alongside a supportive SEN department and senior leadership team.
• Competitive rates of £57-£65 per day (dependent on experience)

About you:

• Experience working with children or adults with Special Educational Needs would be ideal.
• You will be confident, determined, resilient, approachable, positive and motivated.
• You will be calm, caring and conscientious.
• Commitment, initiative and excellent interpersonal skills is essential.

To be considered for this role, you will be required to:

• Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
• Be able to provide two references from the last 6 years
