Primary Supply Teacher £150 to £170 per day
Job description
Primary Supply Teacher – Bexley & Greenwich – £130 to £170 per day
Want to teach without the planning, marking and meetings, on the days that suit you? I’m looking for Primary Teachers to join my supply team covering primary schools across Bexley and Greenwich, with work available from this week.
I’m Parvey, the dedicated consultant for South East London at Teaching Personnel. I know these schools personally, and I’ll match you to classrooms where you’ll be welcomed, supported and asked back.
What you’ll get:
- £130 to £170 per day, paid weekly through PAYE, with no umbrella company deductions
- You choose your days: one day a week or five, term-time only
- Short commutes to schools in Woolwich, Eltham, Greenwich, Charlton, Thamesmead, Bexleyheath, Welling, Sidcup and Erith
- No planning or marking: lessons are set, you teach and leave feedback, then you go home
- Regular schools, so you build relationships with a small group of schools rather than going somewhere new every day
- A route to longer-term work if you want it, with long-term cover and permanent roles often coming from day-to-day bookings
- Free online CPD courses and a consultant who actually picks up the phone
What a typical day looks like:
You’ll arrive to a planned day, teach across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, keep the class settled and on task, and leave a short note for the class teacher. It’s straightforward, varied, and you’ll be valued.
What you’ll need:
- QTS (or equivalent) – ECTs welcome
- Recent UK primary classroom experience
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one (we’ll help)
- Confident, calm behaviour management
Not sure supply is for you?
Whether you’re returning to teaching, stepping back from full-time, recently moved to the area, or an ECT wanting experience across year groups, apply and I’ll call you to talk it through. No pressure.
Click Apply today and I’ll be in touch to get you registered and working as quickly as possible.
