We are currently looking to recruit a variety of full and part time Primary Teaching Assistant for our Mainstream Primary Schools, located across the City Centre, Mutley, Peverell and Corwnhill area. The role will be dependant on your experience.

Teaching Personnel Plymouth work alongside numerous schools who will need support staff to work with children with a range of social and emotional needs including:

  • Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
  • Hearing and Speech Impairments
  • Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
  • ADHD
  • Moderate Learning Difficulties

To be successful for this role we are looking for candidates from a variety of different backgrounds including:

  • Health & Social Care
  • Teaching Assistant Level 2 or 3
  • Care Work backgrounds
  • Youth Work backgrounds
  • Any personal experience with special needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
