HLTA needed in Plymouth
Teaching Personnel are seeking a skilled an dedicated HLTA for a vacancy in one of our Plymouth Primary schools. This is a one form entry school in north Plymouth. The successful applicant must have experience across KS1 and KS2 to effectively support students across the school. Please see details below.
Successful applicants will:
• Hold a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant qualification
•Have 6 months experience of supporting young people with additional needs, including Autism, Learning Difficulties and Physical Disabilities
•Be able to liaise with other staff members to ensure the best education is being delivered to pupils in your care
• Be calm, caring and efficient when dealing with pupils going into crisis mode
• Hold a Child Only DBS registered to the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
