SEN Teaching Assistant

An excellent school which is based in Haywards Heath are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their ranks starting January 2020.

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a child with Downs Syndrome on a 1:1 basis starting ASAP. The child needs continual support through out the school day to ensure he is meeting educational and personal targets. The school are dedicated to creating an ‘inclusive learning environment’ and are looking for a TA who is passionate about encouraging and supporting learning. To be considered for this post, you will have experience supporting learners with additional needs.

Job spec:

• Provide a child only workforce DBS on the update service or willing to pay for a new child only DBS (GBP40) and then subscribe to the update service (GBP13)

• Primary/Secondary teacher able to teach at primary level

• Helping with schoolwork under the supervision of the teacher

• Promoting Education and Training in a classroom environment
