SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant
Teaching Personnel
GBP60 - GBP75 a day

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for experienced SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant to join a “Good” special school in Swiss cottage. The SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant role will be full time and required from March 2021. The large SEN school caters to pupils aged from early years to sixth form with various special needs.

Male teaching assistants are especially encouraged due to the high male to female raitio of studnts in the school.


About the Role

  • SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant for special school
  • Full time 8.30am – 3.30pm term time only
  • March 2021 start
  • Daily rate between GBP65 - GBP75 a day (dependent on experience)

About the School

  • Large special school which has pupils from 2-19 years of age with autism learners and complex needs.
  • Rated “Good” by Ofsted , ‘Outstanding’ in Behaviour
  • Sixth form available

In order to be considered for this role, the SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Proven experience working with Special Needs
  • Able to work with pupils with challenging behaviour
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
