• SEN Teaching Assistant – Full time

• Supporting the learning of SEN pupils with Autism in the schools newly-built ASC department. 
• Working alongside the schools SENDCo to prepare appropiate learning materials and provide tailored support to pupils
• A good understanding or previous experience with Autism is very desirable to the role
• Earning GBP1200 a month

The incoming SEN Teaching Assistant will join a fantastic team of teachers at a small yet vibrant secondary school in Salford. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the learning of young people aged 11 to 16 with Autism who struggle with the work set in class. As a result, the ideal candidate for the role of Teaching Assistant will be of a patient nature, confident and adaptable with their approach to learning to meet the needs of pupils. The school is regularly commended for its high level of support for both staff and pupils.

Located in the Eccles area of Salford, our client secondary school can be accessed via the M60 and A58 from surrounding areas including Bolton, Stretford and central Manchester. For non drivers, there is a number of public transportation links meaning the school can be accessed from surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.
