We are currently seeking Learning Support Assistants for a Primary. The school caters for pupils aged 2-11 who have all been diagnosed with some form of SEN. The school has recently been rated as Outstanding by OFSTED with very positive reviews from parents, pupils and staff.

Learning Support Assistants are instrumental in achieving good and long-lasting outcomes for pupils within SEN schools both socially and academically. LSA’s support leaners by keeping them on task when their minds drift away, assisting pupils with more complex tasks and overall being a supportive force in the classroom.

Your role at the school would be to assist the class teacher and possibly support other TA’s in the room throughout the school day. Your main duties will include helping pupils with their work, assistance in group work activities, providing an alternative environment for the pupils to work to promote the pupils progress and help them reach their full potential

The facilities that will made available to include musical instruments for sessions, a wide variety of both indoor and outdoor play equipment for play centred learning and the support of a wide team of professionals who are there not only to support the young people progress but also to support you in your new role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
