Teaching Personnel have a fantastic opportunity available for a full time role in a South Liverpool Primary School, for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant. The school prides itself on providing an exciting and engaging learning environment for all pupils and this role gives you the opportunity to be an integral part of this fantastic school.

The role would include aiding the teacher with the daily running of the classroom, monitoring the progress and development of the pupils, creating a fun and safe working environment whilst upholding the values of the school at all times. The role would also include 1:1 work with a lower KS2 pupil with MLD during the afternoons of the school day, this would involve assisting the pupil with school activities and providing them with reassurance and encouragement.

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Experience working  with SEN pupils
  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in KS1/KS2
  • Safeguarding experience
  • A positive attitude to all aspects of work
  • Uk address and right to work
  • Prior experience working with pupils on a 1:1 basis 

The role:

  • Full time, Monday to Friday 
  • Hours approximately 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • GBP10 - GBP11 per hour 
  • Parking on site

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
