SEN Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are seeking a SEN Teaching assistant on behalf of our client's school in Stockport, to start in the new academic year.

The SEN Teaching Assistant will be working with small groups of students and on a one to one basis, helping them achieve their academic goals, working in a small unit with a strong supportive team.

We are looking for a confident SEN Teaching Assistant, who has had previous experience Working within a SEN unit, showing caring and supporting characteristics.

  • Full time SEN Teaching Assistant role, starting in September 2019
  • Secondary School, located South Manchester in Stockport
  • SEN Teaching Assistant role, supporting small groups of SEN students learn
  • Paid on a weekly basis (£250-£300)
  • Working hours: 08:30 - 15:00

Due to an open vacancy within the SEN unit at our client's secondary school in Stockport, the head of the SEN unit is looking to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant. The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have a good knowledge on the core subjects, to give helpful support to the students, so they can achieve their very best.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will;

  • Have had previous experience working with SEN students
  • Have caring and supportive characteristics
  • Be able to commit to a full time role
  • Have a good knowledge of the main core subjects, to be able to teach a basic level
  • Want to pursue a career in Teaching Personnel Ltd

Our client's school is located in Stockport, just of the A6. Being located in Central Manchester there is plenty of public transport links close by, which makes it easy to get to the school in the morning rush hour.
