Year 6 teacher and SATs intervention

We are currently working with a “Good” Salford Primary School. Due to the need in increased support, the school are looking for a Year 6 class teacher to start ASAP potentially running up for the rest of the academic year.

There is the potential for the position to continue on to a school’s contract for the right year 6 teacher. The two form entry Bury school can offer outstanding facilities, a great, supportive staff team and an outstanding commitment to developing the careers of teachers. The headteacher is looking for an enthusiastic practitioner looking to be a part of a school which is a big part of the local community.

The role will be split between full class teaching and small group SATs interventions. All members of staff work hard to support children’s next steps, progression and attainment. Subject leaders work hard to support across the school and key actions have been successfully targeted. The headteacher is ideally looking for someone who has experience working in the new curriculum SATs as a year 6 teacher or an expereinced Key Stage 2 teacher.
