SEN Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a brilliant, modern double form entry primary school located in Norwich. This would initially be a part time role (maternity cover) but has the potential to turn into a full time role. You would be working on a 1:1 basis with a pupil in KS1 with SLCN SEN.

Responsibilities:

• To support the child on a 1-1 basis with her daily needs
• To assist the class teacher
• May extend to doing small group work within the class room
• To help support other children within the class if required

You will have experience in working with children with SEND and may have specialist SEND qualifications. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed professional looking to start or continue their career in a rewarding new role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
