Role: Teaching Assistant in Secondary Education

The Role

Teaching Personnel are working with English Secondary Schools across South Wales who are currently looking for active Teaching Assistants to work and support children in class. Sporty and passionate people work well in these roles. The role would involve working as both classroom support, and on a 1:1 basis to ensure the selected pupils are supported and thriving in the educational environment. The role also involves supporting the pupils emotionally therefore patience and understanding is an important and key aspect of the role.

Responsibilities

       Supporting disengaged and/or challenged individuals.

       Utilizing Sport methods

       Identifying and observing beneficial behaviour methods  

       Emotional support for the pupils, developing their personal and social skills to support them through and beyond the educational setting.

Requirements:

       EWC Registration

       Enhanced DBS (child only) and registered with the Update Service

       Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
