Are you a recent Psychology graduate with an array of skills and attributes ready to be utilised and displayed inside a warm and caring Primary School?

Do you believe you have the necessary subject knowledge and understanding to be a key member of an experienced and talented SEN staff department as a TA?

Would you benefit from gaining a brilliant prior experience working inside a caring and supportive Primary School, analysing and transferring teaching techniques and methods from experienced SEN Staff members?

If you are looking to begin a teaching career inside the Psychology subject, and offer a range of academic and emotional support to children with additional behavioural needs, then this is the role for you!

Primary SEN Teaching Assistant – Overview:
• Oversubscribed and academically brilliant primary school
• Inspiring Senior Leadership Team
• Array of experienced and talented SEN staff members
• Number of resources and facilities to give students the best opportunity to enhance their academic ability
• Paid GBP300-GBP350 per week, term time only as Primary SEN Teaching Assistant
• Brilliantly located
• Number of accessible public transport links
• Commutable from around Gravesend and surrounding areas

What you need to apply?
• Minimum 2:1 Psychology degree
• Passionate and motivated to offer pupils brilliant academic and emotional support
• Good amount of degree subject knowledge
• Fantastic communication skills as a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant
• Ability to organise and conduct specific sessions structured to students needs

In this particular role you will be working alongside experienced and supportive SEN staff members organising and conducting specifically structured sessions to enhance the academic and emotional ability of children with additional behavioural needs. You will be mostly working on a one on one basis, display your subject knowledge through brilliant communication skills in turn allowing the student to feel comfortable and have the knowledge that they are being supported by a brilliant staff member.

The school itself has a number of resources and facilities to allow their students to receive the best academic and emotional care possible, as well as having acquired the best and most dedicated staff to educate them. They pride themselves on putting the pupil’s needs first, and have gained a brilliant reputation within the local community for their wonderful care and support for the children with additional behavioural needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
