SEN Teaching Assistant

Job description

We are currently working with a school which is going through a staffing re structure following a recent Ofsted report. This school is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) / Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work with SEN pupils predominantly in KS2 but with some time spent with KS1.

The school is an great, supportive and nurturing environment, that aims to include the families and carers of the pupils in the school.

The SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant will be working with children with complex and diverse needs, including ASD, that can exhibit challenging behaviour.

The SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant is initially offered on a long term supply basis; however, there may be opportunities for this to progress into something else dependent on you

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract

Salary: £65.00 to £70.00 /day

Experience:

  • SEN TA: 1 year (Preferred)

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (Preferred)

Location:

  • Rochester- Medway, Kent (Preferred)
