SEN Teaching Assistant

Our specialist Hampshire SEN branch are currently seeking hardworking, empathetic and committed Teaching Assistants to carry out daily, short, long term and temp-to-perm assignments in SEN and SEMH Schools in and around the Portsmouth, Havant & Waterlooville and Gosport areas.

We have opportunities available in various SEN settings including primary SEN/SEMH, secondary SEN/SEMH and through schools which cater for a variety of needs.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong ability and skills to keep students involved and "on track"
• Excellent support and motivational skills
• Previous experience working with SEMH needs
• Flexibility to adapt to unique situations and requirements
• Team Teach experience (although this will be provided via on job training)
• An outstanding track record being reliable, professional, hardworking and punctual
• Hold a current enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to apply for a new one
