SEN Teaching Assistant in York

I am looking for creative and experienced teaching assistants to work with pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, such as Autism, Learning Difficulties and English as an Additional Needs.

We have support roles available from Key Stage 1 to Post 16. Each of these provisions vary in approach and pupil's attainment can vary from the National Primary curriculum to GCSE or vocational levels. You may also be required to support pupils in a non-educational setting with the aim of supporting their return to mainstream learning in the near future.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
