SEN Intervention Assistant – Withington

Teaching Personnel are currently working with an Ofsted graded Oustanding school, located in the south of Manchester who are actively looking for a intervention assistant for an immediate start, this role will be a 1:1 support role - assisting a student who has additional SEN needs, specifically controlling their behaviour within a classroom setting.

The successful applicant must be comfortable working with KS2 students within a classroom setting and be familiar with appropriate safeguarding requirements. Experience working with SEN students and transferable skills would be highly beneficial.

Role Requirements:

• 1:1 Work with students struggling with their behaviour management
• Pastoral intervention with both SEN and SEMH students
• Building a behaviour support plan with the school SENCO.
• Safeguarding experience within a school setting.
• Experience of the KS2 curriculum and phonics schemes.

You will be working within a passionate faculty who are focused on the development of SEN students, alongside working closely with the school SENCO and HLTAs to gain a better understanding on the students requirements.

About the role:

• PAYE rates of: £77 - £85 per day
• Full time – Monday to Friday
• Immediate start following Teaching Personnel registration.
