SEN Teaching Assistant- North London
We are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN teaching assistant to join a SEN School.
This position will start in September 2020 and continue on a full time basis for the rest of the academic year with a potential to become permanent. The role You will be required to assist SEN pupils with learning on a 1-2-1 and small group basis.
The ideal candidate To join this school, it is essential that you posses:
• Previous experience as a teaching assistant/behaviour support assistant or support worker
• Experience of special educational needs whether from paid or personal means
• Friendly and professional manor
The school The school caters for pupils with MLD, SLD, Autism, and speech and language difficulties as well as other complex needs. Age ranges of pupils are 11 to 16 years old. The school is led by an excellent Head teacher, the main goal is to produce a calm and relaxed setting where students feel nurtured and are able to feel confident in their education. All pupils address teachers by their first names which the pupils respond to really well. The school is located in North London and can be reached by both overland and local buses.
